On the weekends of September 12 - 13 and 19 – 20, planned construction (MTC) is taking place on the Barrie line, Kitchener line and UP Express.
Here’s what you need to know:
- UP Express:
- There will be no UP Express train service on September 12-13 and 19-20.
- GO buses will run direct between Union Station Bus Terminal and Pearson Airport Terminal 1.
- There will be no UP Express service at Bloor GO, Weston GO and Mount Dennis GO stations.
- On September 11, 14-18 and 21, service will also be adjusted.
- Here’s the why: Planned construction is taking place on the Kitchener line for the future Stockyards Station. This work is part of GO Expansion to support faster, more frequent service and requires us to temporarily suspend UP Express service so the construction can be performed safely.
Regular scheduled service will resume Tuesday September 22, 2026.

UP EXPRESS:
- Alternative transit options:
- If you are travelling from Bloor station to Union Station: Take TTC Line 2 eastbound from Dundas West station (Bloor-Yonge) to connect to TTC Line 1 southbound (Yonge-University) at St. George station (30 minutes).
- If you are travelling from Bloor station to Pearson Airport: Take TTC Line 2 westbound from Dundas West station (Bloor-Yonge) and transfer to TTC Route 900 Airport Express at Kipling station (45 minutes).
- If you are travelling from Mount Dennis station to Union Station: Take the ECLRT Line 5 to connect to TTC Line 1 to Union Station (45 minutes).
- If you are travelling from Mount Dennis station to Pearson Airport: Take TTC bus route 89 to Weston Rd. at Lawrence Ave. West. Walk to Lawrence Ave. West at Weston Rd. and take TTC bus route 52A to Pearson Airport Terminal 1 (60 minutes).
- If you are travelling from Weston station to Union Station: Take TTC Route 52 to connect to TTC Line 1 (Yonge-University) at Lawrence West station (60 minutes).
- If you are travelling from Weston station to Pearson Airport: Take TTC Route 52A, from Lawence West towards Pearson Airport (40 minutes)
- Friday September 11:
- The last train to Union Station will depart Pearson Airport Terminal 1 at 23:39.
- The last train to Pearson Airport Terminal 1 will depart Union Station at 23:00.
- September 14 – 17:
- Train arrival and departure times will be adjusted up to 3 minutes earlier or later than regularly scheduled.
- Friday September 18:
- Train arrival and departure times will be adjusted up to 3 minutes earlier or later than regularly scheduled.
- The last train to Union Station will depart Pearson Airport Terminal 1 at 23:37.
- The last train to Pearson Airport Terminal 1 will depart Union Station at 23:00.
- Monday September 21:
- Trains departing Pearson Airport Terminal 1 to Union Station, between 05:27 and 00:54, will arrive and depart 1 minute earlier than regularly scheduled.
Regular scheduled service will resume Tuesday September 22, 2026.
