Here’s what you need to know:
- Barrie Line:
- There will be no GO Transit service between Downsview Park GO and Union station on September 12 – 13 and 19 – 20.
- Go trains will run between Allandale Waterfront and Downsview Park GO. Trains will arrive and depart at these stations as regularly scheduled.
- From September 14 to 18, most trains will arrive or depart several minutes before or after normally scheduled.
- To note: Subway service on Line 1 between St Clair and College will be closed on September 19 and 20. Visit ttc.ca for details.
- Here’s the why: Metrolinx is transforming GO Transit to bring more frequent two-way, all-day service to the Barrie line seven days a week. To support the future addition of a second track, key areas of the corridor along the Barrie line are being expanded. Learn more about this important work and benefits it will bring your future commute.
Regular scheduled service will resume Tuesday September 22, 2026.
